The Keyword Search box is along the top of our site and availble at all times. It searches our entire database, thus every item we sell can be found through the Keyword Search. The most important aspect of the Keyword Search is that it does not search for multiple words. Therefore, you must only search for single words or phrases. To compensate, there is a check box next to the search button that allows you to "Narrow these results". For example, if you were searching for a STAINLESS STEEL BALL VALVE, the site would return zero results. However, if you first searched for STAINLESS STEEL, then for VALVE with the box checked, and finally BALL, you would see all of the Stainless Steel Ball Valves we offer.
The Keyword Search's narrow function can also be used in conjunction with the Category Search, whenever items are visible. It cannot be used if only sub-categories are displyed. To use the same example above, suppose you were looking for 2 inch Stainless Steel Ball Valve. You can use the Category Search to browse to VALVES...BALL...STAINLESS STEEL, then use the Keyword Search with the Narrow box checked and search for 2". The results will be all 2 inch Stainless Steel Ball Valves.
